Hard Turn, Oil Light Comes On
If I take a hard turn my oil light comes on but I check my oil level often so I know there is always the proper oil level. The person I bought the car from told me his MB mechanic told him it was something oil related and I was looking into this.
******** has a part "1987 MERCEDES-BENZ 300DT 3.0L 2998cc L6 DIESEL MFI Turbo : Electrical : Oil Level Sender" I did not check Fastlane yet for their price but ******** has it for $44.79. Know where it is located? Thanks for looking!

That's most likely the culpret, they are known to fail. I replaced the one in my '98 when it was leaking, it takes 5 minutes to do while you change the oil. Just make sure you get the large o-ring seal for it too.
If it is mounted in the same place in yours as it was in mine, it is on the left side of the engine, near the bottom and is held in with 2 allen-headed machine screws. You might also check with the dealer as I recall the price from them was about the same as what you are finding, but I did it a couple of years ago so it might have gone up some.

Check up and back from oil drain plug. It has a electrical plug running to it, very easy to take off, could do it at next oil change since your under there anyway.
