Switching to B99 Questions

I was thinking of switching to use B99 on my 81 240D. Had a few questions:
1. What is needed before I switch?
2. Can I add B99 to diesel that is already in the tank?

So, basically, NO MORE new posts, period! Everything that you could ever think to ask has already been answered somewhere in these forums!!

Congrats on making the switch to B99, you may want to check and make sure your fuel lines are in good shape, biodiesel tends to eat old rubber.

Here's a kit that's compatible with biodiesel when you decide to upgrade, but you should be ok for a while, just something to consider:

You also want to have a few extra fuel filters in the car for when the B99 cleans out the gunk in the tank and clogs the filters...

Primary and secondary and a tools to change them

Thanks for the information. I have put switching over on hold due to the lack of getting the fuel, it appears that there aren't allot of places saleing it.

Yes, that is a tricky one. I'm lucky that I have B20 within a few miles of my house, but, would be great to have B100 close. Have you checked out this biodiesel retailer map?

Yep, where I live there is only one close by and it is a card-lock station, I have been e-mailing them for the last two days but I have never gotten a answer yet.
