I love summer!

Just wanted to say that I am loving having my SDL back again, its been a month and I have enjoyed every mile. Everytime I drive this car I am reminded about how well MB made this thing, its just done so perfectly. The best way I can describe the W126 is that its like driving a proper car.

I was driving a brand new E350 4matic last weekend which was fantastic. But all I though was that I wish it had a diesel, than I would have been perfect. Hattie really wants a CDI...

Oh BTW I can still break lose my 245/50 rear tires so I guess its running pretty good.:D Maybe if I went up to 275's...:D

MB just got so much right with there diesel cars its so hard to fault them. Actualy I would really like to get my hands on a super rare 350SD next, rod bender be damned. I think that combo would be so enjoyable to drive that I really wouldn't mind any problem that came up.

Driving the 300d full time has been fantastic. 9,000 miles since picking her up in September. There was almost a full month when I couln't drive it because of the constant wet, salty crap on the roads. I can't imagine living in the NE and hibernating my car during the winter.

I would imagine this group's summer enjoyment level is primarily based on location and if their AC is functioning properly.:D

Yeah it sucks I really can't use my car 6-7 months out of the year.

Usualy from October-April it sits under cover in the garage, though sometimes I am busy with school and let it sit until May. This year I took it out early, last year it was like May 20th before it came out.

If I can get a decent car for the winter I'll probably keep it in storage from October until the end of May.

Winter beater shopping? Not another Jetta, I assume.:D No youtube videos of you taking a sledge to it, or taking a dump on the dash? I'm dissapointed.:D

Nah I'm hoping to make some decent money this year. If I can I know if a couple of pretty decent SDL's I can pick up for cheap.

I love summer, 'cause I get to look at all the scantily clad college girls walking around. I like it when they pretend they dont see me checking them out :)

Short shorts are a gift from God!:D

I Love Summer Too!

I get moody and grouchy and cynical in the Winter.

I come to Life in the Summer.

I LOVE SUMMER

TylerH860 05-15-2008 01:13 AM

Isn't there some statistic that more people drop dead during the winter?

We're getting kind of O-D ish here, but oh well. :D

Hatterasguy 05-15-2008 01:20 AM

Think I should move it? I'm not the DD mod, but it is on the edge. My BAC is currantly pretty high so I'm useless.

TylerH860 05-15-2008 01:28 AM

Naw, lets steer it back to diesel cars.:D

A little bit shorter glowing times, woo hoo.

Hatterasguy 05-15-2008 01:10 PM

Lets see talk about diesels hmm, my GP's seem to be working well.:D
