My 1980 300D N/A, 118k. One day the light started to blink, so i bought 5 bosh glow plugs since i had never changed them out on that car. After i replaced them it worked correctly one single time, then it started blinking again. So i took them all out and tested each one with a battery. All work fast and red hot. I checked the fuse and it is fine (no hairline cracks). Still wont work.

If i use a multimeter to check voltages at the wiring going to the glow plug, how long after i turn the key, do i have to check it. 5s, 10s, 20s?

anyone have any suggestions?
