Hello, I have a 1981 merc 300d with the 4 bolt trannsmission pan.I beleive that the model # is 722.118, (has the red modulator on the transmission)From what i have read searching the forum this transmission does not have a bowden cable or pressure rod.On top of my valve cover there are three 3/2 switches. Is there a way to simplify the vacuum system on this model.(eliminate switches)I have looked everywhere to find a vacuum diagram for this model but cannot find one.The 81 300d n/a is a blacksheep because in 82 they went to all turbos.(I believe)I think the 1980 300d has a bowden cable.So the diagrams for those years do not work with this car.If anyone has or knows where to get one of these diagrams it would be a big help.Thanks
