there were three HP ratings on the OM616...

1) Not much power
2) Even less power
3) Not nearly enough power!! 240D w/auto

Anyone that thinks a 240D is slow drives too fast.

1981 240d (engine donor 1983 240d) recently rebuilt engine hurray! - No more.. fought a tree and the tree won.

pearl black 1983 240d 4speed (Converted!@$$%) atleast the tranny was rebuilt.

At my current rate, I should get to 1M miles by about 2022 (when I'm about 64).

when diesel was cheap I would make excuses to drive my car so I could rack up the miles. Weird eh.. lol Normal people make excuses so not to rack up miles.


I'm a year away from the 500 kilometer award.
