I talked to my sister the other day to find out what he got. Turns out he bought a '92 300SD. My brother in law is the type of guy that jumps right into things without doing proper research. I told my sister about the cars reputation. But with 200k plus, it may have had its issues solved. My nephew give me the VIN and I run a Carfax. Turns out the car has recently been bought at auction and has had serious damage to the front end from a collision.
So I finally talk to my bro-in-law and he says the car has a conversion kit. He tells me it is a Lovecraft kit.

I really hate to break all the bad news to him. I don't think I will say anything, just cross my fingers and hope for the best for him.
