Question wiper not working... yes just one...

my drivers side is fine... but pass. side acts like it wants to... but then doesnt... or does and stops once it gets to the top thus stopping the drivers side...
anyone have this problem before??? am i screwed. pp4b listed 238 for a wiper motor... is that normal cost? should i actually check the stealership...
i'm in a whole new boat here... actually... not so much... because i got ALL of my water leaks fixed

Since the driver's side works, it's probably not the motor. More likely the linkage has dropped a pin (or however it is attached).

If you lift the cover on the inop wiper arm you should see a nut maybe 10 mm. Tighten that nut!! The cover is where the arm attaches at the cowl. Worst case scenerio is the arm has worn enough to not lock onto the serratted wiper linkage so get another arm from a wreck if necc.
