AC died, ticking sound under dash

Hello all.

My poor 82 240d was in a accident, someone hit it in my driveway while I was sleeping.

AC worked fine before and after the accident, blew cold air.

Yesterday on the way home, my AC would not turn on. When I turned on the AC I could hear a clicking noise under the dash. Passenger side of the car is where the other car hit mine.

Is this where you all would suggest looking for a resolution (under the dash)? Where is this relay under the dash that I hear clicking?

Thanks for any help!

Thanks,
Spencer

Look under the hood. Passenger side is were most of the electrical connections are for hi and low pressures. Also where the A/C hoses are routed. Would have been a more informative post if you had looked under the hood first, saw nothing out of place and said so in this post. You are our eyes and in some cases ears so look and listen then post.
