Question Vacuum/Transmission Question

Hey everyone, ok I got my vac lines fixed a few weeks ago and the cars has been working great. When I had gotton the vacuum lines fixed, right before I left the mechanics shop he said something was up with my transmission. He said it was way to slow and it's either the vacuum lines or the trani. Well I brushed that off because the trani seemed fine to me. I had a flashback today of when my vac lines went out. I was driving to pick a friend up when I noticed the trani was shifting funny. Now my normal shift pattern sucks! It first shifts at 15 then again at 20-25 and then again at about 35 and it takes forever to get up to speed. But It was starting to take a while to shift, I noticed though, it was shifting good! the brake booster went out, but seriously i didn't care, the trani was making up for it! lol It revved just a bit high but it got me up to speed quick. It down shifted just like my old 300E did and it was the first time, from I believe that the trani was working like it should be. Usually when I get to 40 it sounds like it needs to shift and feels like it but gets less noisy and I just thought it was how it was. But when I hit 40 it was quiet and felt like it finally shifted where I always felt it needed to. Well this was short lived, the brake booster came back and the trani came to its old sluggish and lazy ways. I believe this is what that mechanic was telling me about. Does anyone know what happened to me? I do have a leak with my vac lines still because my door locks dont work. About two weeks ago I had to shut her off manually too with the "STOP" lever in the engine. So if get my vacuum problems fixed, will I get this awesome trani back, or will it still be the lazy dog it's been? Thoughts?

Dude, take a break and start a new paragraph once in a while.

Search for K1, K-1 & B2, B-2 pistons.

Maybe run some trans X in the transmission for a while and see if it helps.

you really should read this

very very very long thread. should get your head straightened out. I think early shifting is caused by too much vaccum getting to transmission from vac control valve.
