it runs!
I bought a 1983 300DT at a lien sale last week. Hauled it home on a trailer today. This thing has been sitting since about 2000 in a field, I found a live rabbit in the engine compartment. The interior and body are actually pretty nice.
So, today the following math was proved: $300 MB + $89 battery + $5 diesel + 30 minutes spent jumping glow plugs + 10 minutes rigging 2 liter gas tank - 2 vacuum lines = 1 running 300D Dam if the thing didn't run and run smoothly with oil pressure I am pretty happy! |

I just bought a parts car that they said ran when parked and it seems like it is frozen. You got a good one. Congrats! Paul

I just bought one at auction too. New battery, and fired up and drove it to work today. Sweetness.
