Moldy A/C - Drain Location on W211 / E320?
Hi all, I have the moldy AC condition that seems to afflict the W211's (there's a DTB for it) but my car is out of warranty so I'm going to try to clear it up myself. It's a REALLY sweet/moldy smell on startup. I've tried Lysol/Clorox Cleanup (with bleach) to no avail so I think the drains are plugged. I've tried running the REST function to dry it out, also to no avail.
Does anyone know where these drain tubes are located under the car? I'd think they'd be near the transmission somewhere but I really don't know and the service DVD doesn't say where/how they're routed, only that they drain the water (supposedly). :-)
