I have a sail boat with a MB enginge and know nothing of its origin.
all I have is paperwork and a possible ser or part number ..
the number i have is 947053666 and sm 616. anyone help me locate info or id?

Assuming its Diesel?

The 616 would be the 2.4l from the late 70's early 80's. Not certain what SM is; usually is OM for oil motor.
