Oh, and I drove one of those troublesome 603s another 16,000miles w/o trouble, in a troublesome 124. Not a bad year. Did change fluids.

Not really much to brag. But I acheived all the things I have done with the help of members on the forum. Very grateful.

-rebuilt monovalve
-oil and filter change
-repaired broken springs and put pool noodle in front seat
-replaced broken gasket around power antenna
-still can't fix radio antenna but took it all apart and wound the antenna out manually. Just a little bit to have radio reception. To cheap to buy used one for $40 from junkyard!(LOL) To cheap to buy the mast for $16!
-replace air filter
-replace battery
-drain and refill differential fluid
will replace fuel filters soon.

Valve Adjustment, oil change, fan shroud replacement.

I think this one came from a 240. It hit the fan every once in a while.

Currently, 1400 miles away from the quarter million mark...

.
my favorite mercedes antenna workaround. buy a SAAB or Volvo antenna retractable, works just as well, 15$ on Ebay, have to do some funky soldering to connect the cables together

Done-Installed mono-valve repair kit.
Upgraded to Bosch icon windshield wipers
3,000 mile Oil Change
Did the 8 hour polish and wax on the Gwagen, spent another 2 hours on the interior

To be done-Solve this bloody harmonic balancer problem
Install new vacuum pump
Install a new hood pad
Install a new antenna mast
Oil change on the G
Once all of the above is done, polish and wax the S-Class
