Diesel wanted, my 380 SEC for trade

I want to trade my SEC for any MB diesel as long as it's running and not 123 body. Any 126 or 124 will make me happy especially 300 SD.

Please visit my gallery for pictures, or email me for more pictures.

Hopefully someone needs to reduce their collection by just one diesel, let me know what You have and how much cash I have to add

thnx

My 380SE get about 25MPG on the road and 19 MPG in town. not far off of the diesel's MPG. With diesel being the same or more than gas right now, I think I'd keep the 380SEC.

Nice looking car.
I have a 560SEC and now just drive it on weekends because of the price of Gas, The 380SE is my Daily driver.

Ehh even though diesel prices are more expensive than gas right now, i'm slowly seeing it drop. Not sure anyone's gonna wanta trade a car that gets over 28mpg in town, for a car that gets 19mpg though...

More like 22-24mpg in town, 28mpg is difficult even on the highway.

Just remember that 6 MPG better from 19 to 25 is almost 1/3 better MPG. But you are right. Diesel is coming down a bit, but here in CA, they say it's because they made diesel and now are stocked up on diesel. They now have to make summer grade gas, next it'll be Diesel surplus is gone, they'll raise that again and so on and so forth. Flippin' yo-yo I say.

Actually I say drill in ANWAR, off all our coasts. (the Chinese are drilling off the coasts(Gulf of Mexico) right now). It's time for the tree huggers to P*** OFF! The TH's bitoiched and cried about the Alaska pipeline and how the animals would be harmed.....now the Cariboo migrate TO the pipeline because of the heat produces MORE food. I worked on a couple Alyeska projects way back when. The same thing will happen in ANWAR. They also need to access the oil shale in the northern western states. There is enough oil there for 160 years.
Here we sit on our Butts. It's just like starving to death in a grocery store. (For those that don't understand that last sentence, it means too dumb to steal food to stay alive).

Ok off my rant.

the simple solution, intall a SD drivetrain into your SEC.

Thanks for Your input but I have my reasons for diesel. With #1 I guess is that my first car was MB diesel when I was young kid. BTW, my SEC never got 25 MPG, it has no smog pump, no cat, very low RPM,s on the higway but still, not a 25MPG car.

Icefire, I hear You, I know Your previous posts about the engine swap and I was trying to do it. It's just too much for me now. One MB shop I found would to it for $1500 + I need another donor car. I wish I could do it but can't afford it now... So trade is my only option for diesel now
