Yes, I'm a Mercedes Benz DORK!!

Hi, my name is Jimmy, and I am a Mercedes Benz Dork!

Here is my proof:

1985 300TD

I made sure the camera batteries were charged about the middle of last week as I didn't know how much driving I would be doing. As it turned out, not much Friday or Monday. {using it for work so I don't use it on weekends}
I knew this morning that today would be the day, so I watched it carefully and made sure I was at a place where I could pull over when it happened.
That doesn't even touch the subject of making sure at 222,000 that I reset the trip meter.
I'm not proud......

Call me when you get to 617,952..... then it will be confirmed!

The TD looks good, I wish I could say the same about my 85.

Update this thread when you're at 333,333 I think that's more reasonable than 617,952

That's awesome Jimmy! I'm a jealous dork. The next momentous odometer shot for me will be 400K miles. That's going to take a while for me.

As far as your planning for the moment is concerned ... that just proves again that you deserve the MB's in your stable and they deserve someone like you. Here's to your wagon lasting well beyond 617,952.

nice car

I don't think I've seen a picture of your wagon before today. NICE. Its nearly identical to mine, 'cept wheels and euro headlights.

The 222 tripometer puts it over the top for sure.
