300d ? for manual trans swapp?

I recently picked up a 300d auto. I really want a manual trans. Will the 240d trans bolt up to the 5cyc diesel and work? Or is there another trans that will?
also what is "MBZ 4spd manual transmission" ?

Search, there are multiple threads detailing the conversion process. Several people, including myself, have done it and enjoy it very much.

"MBZ 4spd manual transmission"
Is a Mercedes 4-speed manual transmission. What specifically are you referring to and what do you want to know about "MBZ 4spd manual transmission"?

Four speeds are nice. Fives are better, but you better have some cash and speak Deutsch first
