Question 85 300CDT Cruise Control Amp removal

I have been on my back for hours now trying to figure out how to remove the cruise control amp.

The screw nearest the drivers seat was easy the one nearest the engine though ?????

It is NOT that it is rusted in I just cannot seem to find the right tool to get on the Phillips head screw while maintaining enough pressure to start backing it in nor can I get two hands in there to do it.

Any guidance would surely be appreciated.

However thought of putting that screw in there, instead of a headed bolt, and then place it beginning from the outboard side threading into the inboard side is cruel.

If you are trying to unscrew the amp from the bracket, dont. You want to remove the bracket together with the amplifier. It takes a 10mm to remove the bracket. Make sure that you are turning the 10mm bolt, the nut is actually welded and although you can get a tool on it, you cant turn it.
