95 E300D - for mpg EGR ON!!!!!

Gettting an anamoly here, as all y'all have these fancy EGR disconnect plates going on.

Put a near tankful of dinoD in the car, and then forgot that I never blocked the EGR vac line. So I stuff a 6mm bullet in there and off we go.

Gee, I thought it got better milage with dinoD than Bio??? So halfway through the next tank of B100 I reconnect the EGR and I'm noticing that it does better, actaully runs smoother with less pedal, with the EGR ON.

Enigne has a fresh head, runs mint, and prefers B100. Timing *might* be advanced, but I'm not touching it.

Has anyone had this experience? I'm thinking the combo of a n/a engine and B100 like to ahve a bit of EGR going on.

Admittedly, one tankful is NOT a statistical relevant sample, but..... I'm leaving the EGR connected. Just an FYI......

This tank of B100 is showing 585 miles on the trip with an 1/8th tank left. I'll use the future "range" milage figures to see if the EGR ON stretches that a bit. Would like to see 700+ miles from a tank of B100.
