Flex discs & Differential pinion seal on '99 W210

The rear flex disc and differential pinion seal are about to get replaced on my 1999 E300 turbodiesel (W210) which just turned 200k miles. I am also going to do the front flex disc. I have the WIS instructions. Doesn't seem too bad to do as a DIY job. I do NOT have a lift.
Any insight from people who have done this job will be appreciated. For example, were any special MB tools essential to a successful outcome?
Also.....anything else that should get replaced @ 200k miles while this work is in process? Thought the driveshaft (a.k.a. propeller shaft) support bearing might also make sense to replace. Differential fluid will also get changed during this job and will be sure to use the correct spec fluid.
Thank you,
Ken

Hmm 200K. well, when was the last time the timing chain was inspected? transmission drained? ball joints? brake fluid flushed? wheel bearings? pretty much everything on the car should be gone over that has not been serviced in the last year. 200K is a pretty big milestone. 400K is MUCH bigger of course, but 200K is no slouch.

Have not done any of this on mine although I am interested in the pinion seal as this is someithing I need to do in the future.

Gilly described the job to me and it sounded a bit more complicated than pulling the sel and stuffing a new one back in but, might have just been one of his moods that day.

Note relationship of output shafts and drive shafts before removing flex disks.
