Manual transmission model number
I have a transmission out of a 115 220D, I believe its an early 70s or later 60s car. I was wondering what trans it has, all it looks like it has for a number is "1152610819" its stamped on the alum shifter cover.

Not sure what you mean here. Are you asking it is a 4spd or 5spd?
No, its a 4 speed manual, I want to know the 7xx.xxx model number for the trans, its not stamped into the trans that I can see.
There is none, that is a casing number. 7xxxx format didn't start until the 80s. Check with classicparts@mbusa.com but I do not think they will have it. Any transmission casing number starting with 1xx they no longer have records for, or so I was told. What are you trying to determine?

I was just trying to get parts for it, Phil looked it up as a 716.002. It looks like the 123 cast iron case, but it doesn't have that "hump" or "ramp" in the front that mates with the bellhousing.
What parts do you need? Why not just source another one? AFAIK a 123 will fit.
I found the parts I was looking for. 4 speeds are a bit hard to come by in my area, too much to ship out of state, too expensive to drive and get it.
