What style of rear cv boots

What style of rear cv boots

The cv boots on the rear axles on my car are all dried out and cracking. I see that there are 2 different style of boots available. One has a splined axle end and the other does not. Aside from removing the clamps and boots and looking is there a way to determine which I have either from chassis or VIN number or such?
