1984 300d hood adjustment
Hello Folks
I am including a few pictures of the hood on my latest project. Is this hood toast? Can it be fixed, or should I replace. Are there adjustments to make it close better. It seems to be pushed back a bit.Anybody experiencing this issue please feel free to chime in. Thanks BB

I like challenges, and personally I'd try and fix it.
Along the way you end up finding out what needs to be replaced and what you can straighten. I won't say it takes special tools as much as patience . It almost looks as if the fender is also pushed back and the jamb at the door looks tight. First thing to determine is if the frame needs to be pulled and straightened by a frame shop. This is done first. Some cars are done with sheet metal intact, others with it pulled off. Make no assumptions and when you are asking for a quote ask this question. After you have a frame that is right then go on. You have more than a hood to work on, but I do think the hood wrinkle can be taken out.

That would be up to the body shop.
