Replacing main vaccuum line???
I have a small hole in the main vac line on the 240D, the stuff doesn't seem to come a part very easily. How do you get the line off the fittings and back on? Do I have to use the harder tube like MB did? Where can you get the hard line?

You can buy the hard line from the dealer by the yard, they have it in a few different colors if want to use a diferent color.

The line and fittings are sold only as an assembly by Mercedes and the various distributors. If your only problem is a small hole, I suggest gluing a patch over it. Use a piece of soda can and a good quality (not "5-minute") epoxy.

Are you talking about the line from the brake booster? If so, I have one in my garage if you need it.
