Post Scoop! 2010 Mercedes in Northern California

Somewhere in northern California (Mendocino County area) is a prototype 2010 Mercedes and a film crew, making a commercial. I found this out today while at my dealer, Smothers, in Santa Rosa. The service manager got a call that the car had gone into "limp home" mode and needed help. He had to send a technician with a code reader off to see what was wrong. He and I agreed that, aside from the car being a prototype, the press and film people probably drove the pi** out of it. I'll try to find out details about the car next week. In the meantime, anyone on US-101 in the Ukiah area should keep their eyes peeled.

Sounds like it might be the new W212, which is scheduled to come out for the 2010 model year. Keep us posted.
