'84 300 DT, rinse her off, windows stop working

Also, the fan, fuel gauge, etc...

Does anyone have an idea where I might start looking?
I'm thinking somewhere adjacent to the cowl vents.

Does anyone know of a common failure in this area?

Yes, both my MBZs are down at the moment.
(Ford working perfectly at $0.50 per mile)

The fuse box is by cowl vents.
This is not the problem you are having but if you look in the fuse box you might as well take a really good look; this is a pic of one of my power window fuses. It looked good from the top but the end was burned.
