Jacked up rear, SLS fluid started leaking

Only happened once. I dropped the car back down as soon as I saw it was leaking. Came from the shock. Jacked the car back up again no leak. SLS is operating as expected. but slower than on my other wagon. How bad is this? Time to find replacement shock?

Probably shifted the seal. I'd leave it be and see if it starts leaking again. Those struts are mucho $$$, they are the kind of thing you shouldn't replace unless you have to.

Which is why I am wondering if it is a good idea to grab any that might be left at the yard. Probably good idea considering they are like $20 per

same thing just happened to me last night... car had been jacked up for 2 months, I put all 4 wheels on the ground and I tested my electric SLS motor and both struts leaked major fluid... (they were not leaking before)

I jacked the car back up, then down again, the left rear stopped leaking, but the right continued, I cycled the suspension repeatedly using the SLS, but the leak on the right rear continues...

How did the electric SLS motor work out? My old wagon is in need of a new engine and that is the only thing that is stopping my friend who bought it.

For $20, I would pick up the extra "shocks". You can always sell them for more $.
