I just replaced the bushing on the linkage,however when re-installing the plate on that shaft inside the neutral safety switch i could not get it on there with the slim thing that has two tabs that insert into the safety switch so i installed it without thatr piece,is that required,i am driving car and i notice nothing wrong so far.the piece im talking about is held by a small screw.
