Stop lever leaking diesel?
I seem to be having diesel leaking from where the stop lever goes into the side of the injection pump. I can't seem to confirm this while it is at idle but there is evidence that this is where it is coming from. Can this be safely dismantled and fixed by myself?

BE VERY CAREFUL! working around the IP can cause your engine to over rev and fail if not put back exactly correct.
that said, are you sure the leak is not coming from the cloth covered fuel return lines on the injectors?

Its an o-ring seal, easy to fix. If you search the forum there is a good guide to doing it.

Spray the pump down while it is cold with engine degreaser or brake cleaner. After it is dry get a strong flash light, start the car and see if you can see where ther fuel leak is comming from.
As ForcedInduction said pay extra attention to the delivery valve area and where the injector hard lines attatch to the IP.
