Reuse Hood Pad?
Or just buy a new one? The old one is in fine shape, not missing big chunks of foam or anything.
Just trying to save some money

I'm not sure when it did, I just got the car two weeks ago, but it is sitting in the trunk. All that is on the inside of the hood is adhesive remnants. I'm guessing they maybe replaced it a long time ago but didn't use enough?

I peeled a really good hood pad off of a 300D last year from a junk yard, and it has worked out just fine.

Kinda sounds like they used the wrong adhesive to reattach.
I'd try to use it.

Awesome! I figured it would be ok, but I wanted to make sure. If you shine a light in on the hood, you can see some cracking in the paint above the trap oxidizer (I know, it's getting replaced tomorrow though!)
I'd like to stop that from getting any worse.

Clean the hood real good and use 3M Super Weatherstrip Adhesive #8090 (I hope I got the name right). Expensive. Works great.
