300TDT SLS. Pump Replacement?

Is there an Electric pump replacement of an SLS system? I have a Good wagon body with a reasonably nice interior and no rust to speak of. But, blown engine. Can I save the SLS system by replacing the engine driven pump with an electric replacement if I had a good engine ready to go without the pump assembly?

I still haven't found out if the head is salvageable since the motor tossed a timing chain! But I kept it knowing I'm going to need those accessories.

Search here. There's a member with an electric pump. I think there is a picture but the info is pretty sparse.

I'll go out on a big limb and say that in a pinch, you could get by with a hydraulic hand pump.

head

Just re-use the head off of the old engine.....if you can. Or grab a 300TD engine.

you can use a 12v "convertible top" pump with a switch when needed.
