counter clockwise on the power steering pulley...

I am curious to know what could happen if one rotated the power steering pump counter clockwise just a smidge... while adjusting the valves?

The engine could rotate backwards, never a good thing but probably fine. The nut cold loosen. The belt could slip on the pulley. Your wrench could slip and knock over your favorite beverage.......
If you were trying for a certain spot and passed it, go back around!

hahaha beverage... lol yea so i kinda did just that, just a smidgen counter clockwise, while adjusting the valves yesterday, it all runs much better, but there is this helicopter noise that i think could be my sexy cone filter that we discussed yesterday. Or it could be the natural sound of my engine's clatter that i am not quite accustomed to yet. I would know if i had skipped a tooth right? i would have banging and clanging? not the purr? when this occured the cam barely moved back if at all, when i realized what i was doing. so this loud but rhythmic helicopter style breathing is accompaning my engine clatter, but it sounds kosher, i think...
