Cherbear6's new 300D

My friend Sharon got a herself an 85 300D and this weekend she came to visit me, and we did a little work to the car. I replaced the drivers side tie rod, Garrett gave her one of his AWESOME tune ups and a hood star, and my friends Jake and Ryan gave the car a long needed wash and wax. the car came looking like a craigslist used Mercedes and left looking like a "new" 300D!

Sadly Sharon got sick and was in bed most of her visit. but thats ok, we were happy to get her 300D looking like new.

Here are some pics.

Jake with the washing.

Ryan with the Waxing.

Sharon with her 300D

leaving after a long Mercedes filled weekend.

Hey! Did Ryan leave wax on those bumpers? It's looking good. Now she needs the front bumper strip.

What are you doing to the interior?

searching the pick and pull for various bits here and there. we got some this weekend, but didn't have time to install them. the bumper strip is in the trunk. i took it off this weekend because it was barely hanging on, and i didn't have time to install it. there is going to be a second act to this weekend. All in all this weekend was a success.

sadly no. this is my roommates families house. they went on vacation, so we went to work in there driveway

I'm still in limbo sleeping on floors. I've been having come trouble with the people I rented from cooperating with my mortgage guy, they needed some rent verification. Who would have thought, the people at that property management company are the most unprofessional people i've ever dealt with. hints why i called a realitor in the first place. ARG, they make me mad.

Ryan toattly left wax on the bumper. It's cool though, he tried.

Thank you nik and everyone that ended up working on my car. I really did have intention on helping! There will be a round two for sure and I promise not to get heat stroke!

The interior is a bit torn up. The front seat and arm rest needs to be replaced. Me and Nik found some really fancy seats at the pick n pull that were seriously high class, but none of them were the right interior color. We found some wood strips to be replaced and I saw in Niks car that he has a wood steering wheel and gear knob, I think I might go that route.

I have some 16's slated to go on my SD after I'm done with the "summer slicks" on the SD. and I just got a set of 15s for my 240. so I offered Sharon the 15s off my SD (they can be seen in the backgrounds of the pics)
