I miss those ATL fuel prices. When I lived there (1997-2002) I had a '79 Cadillac Coupe DeVille, and a gallon of gas was less than a gallon of water.

Whenever we went out, everyone wanted me to drive and at the time I didn't mind......

Paid $4.35 for #2 Yesterday in Acton(only diesel stop in town), but he was 15-20 cents cheaper than the Chevron I drive right past every day in Palmdale. Cheapest I've found it around North Eastern LA County

So how does the Exxon station there sell diesel at $5.19? Seem's crazy.

GEE....The big oil companies are giving us such a deal!!! Right where the sun don't shine!

Typical is they jack it up real high then when it drops 40-50 cents we all act like lemmings and say "Wow look how cheap it is now!"

Don't forget that fuel was about $2.35 to $2.75 a gallon LAST year!

Just got back from a 3,000 mile trip to Yellowstone with my Dodge Turbodiesel and 28ft trailer. We spent $1155.00 JUST on fuel alone! I used to go to Lake Tahoe for 2 weeks with fuel, food and paying trailer space at a campground and we would spend $1000.00 for everything. This was just 2 years ago!

Alot of you guys are too young to have driven when diesel was $.17 to $.23 a GALLON!

4.09 Per gallon of D2 nearby in Missour-Ah. Still 30-40 cents more than RUG, would like it to be lower than RUG... At 21mpg my car gets in the city I could fuel a V8 at the same price.

Well, I didn't have a diesel back then, but when I started driving in the very early '70s, regular leaded gas was 32 cents - cherish the memory!

Happy Motoring, Mark
