CI-4 Plus oil?

Groan - another oil thread ...., But, I'm having increasing trouble finding CI-4 or CI-4 Plus oil that doesn't also say CJ-4. Everything I've seen says to avoid CJ-4 for older diesels as it is dumbed down to work better with particulate traps in new diesels.

So, what CI-4 or CI-4 Plus oils are still available? This is NOT a request for 'best oil' strong beliefs.

Chevron Delo only available here in LE (CJ-4), same for Rotella and Valvoline Premium Blue, and others. Lone holdout I am finding is Kendall Super D3 15/40.

??

As long as its a Cx rating its fine for any older diesel. CJ makes no difference.

I am using Delo 400 which is now CJ4 and it runs as good as my older CI4 Delo.

My concerns about CJ-4 can be found documented in:

He seems to really like the Shell Rotella T Synthetic that a lot of people on here use, and Pennzoil Long Life which we have used at the marina for 20 years.

Pennzoil is a good dino diesel oil.

All the UOAs done on Delo CJ 4s reveal that it still remains the champ, wear numbers are low and oil life remains the same. What Delo lost in terms of ZDP has been well made up by the addition of moly and boron which has compensated well and has kept the quality same. Same goes for Delvac Super.
