1982-300SD Which Switch Activates the AC Compressor

Which switch on the Dryer activates the AC Compressor Clutch. Describe which switch because their are 2 of them... What about the relays... How are they connected and what do they do... The one for the Aux. Fan and the one for the Clutch... Jim

on the temperature control as long as you are not in EC (economy mode) the compressor will engage when you have the tep dial to cold but it will also engage when the heat is on

Dryer Switches

Their are 2 switches on the dryer... Which one activates the clutch and which one will activate the aux. fan???? I realize that I have to have the Climate Control activated for AC. Which switch activates from pressure and how much pressure will activate the switch and which switch activates from temperature??? This is a 1982-300SD... thanks Jim

Here is a picture of the pressure switch: http://img.eautopartscatalog.com/hires/R1054178181BEH.JPG?width=300&height=300&cookieID=2310JOIV32FX0J9ZTY&source=www.peachparts.com&clientid=catalog.mercedesshop

The power to that switch comes from the ETR switch:

You can jump the wires at each switch and observe what happens.
