Help fried wire spotted
I finally what causing my fuse 15 to keep on my 1987 300SDL getting FRIED!!! Its the wiring harness well part of is fired, i pulled out the rear chair and found a big rubber tube that holds a bunch of wire i guessing that is part of the wiring harness well when i opened it and it shocked me . Almost all of the wire is fired and glued in to a massive cluster of rubber and copper it melted no more than 7 inches in lenght, so what i was thinking dose anyone have or know where can i get a wiring harness i just need the back portion where it connects the tail light, antenna of it i ll just have to stip the wire and reconnect to the new harness, or do i have to purchase a whole thing and replace it all!!!!

Well, it sounds like you've found your "short to ground". I would start at the local pick n pull and see if you can't find a whole harness, nice and cheap. You can also try the Shop Swap section of this forum, and see if anyone has a car they're parting out. If your planning on hot wireing it, remember you'll need some slack to do it right.
Good Luck
