Vibration/Shudder - What can It be?
 

Hey All,
I am working on a 300sd that seems to be shuddering. I dont know how to exactly describe it but when the car is parked on a hill there is a shuddering noise - put the car in neutral and the sound is gone. Also, taking off from a standstill results in the eratic shuddering. Its not constant when taking off instead more eratic and goes away once the car is moving... Any ideas?

Could be your parking pawl in your tranny. Does it do it when you engage the parking brake?
