No heat from the heater

I have recently replaced the Heater/AC solenoid unit on my 1978 300CD. The AC works fine as does the defroster, but I have no heat coming from the unit whatsoever. Coolant lines in and out of the dash, as well as the solenoid are hot, so I know the coolant is making the rounds. I have to assume the air may not be blowing past the heater core. Any thoughts on what might be causing this?

When you say you replaced your solenoid unit.. are you refferring to the "mono valve" out under the hood on the fire wall?

No, it is actually the Servo unit, not a solenoid. It sits just forward of the Air cleaner. These are notorious for failing in the earlier models. They were replaced later by the monovalve.
