300SDL Fuel Filter

So my SDL has an issue being really slow when replacing the in line fuel filter i noticed the one on it and the one i replaced it with don't look like what fastlane sells. one of the adapters on it is an elbow, and when i called fastlane they said it was a straight filter backing up what the picture represents.

Do i have the wrong filter on my car? Should i try and find a straight filter?

Thanks

The shape and things make absolutely no difference. No matter how it's "wired" in, a pass-through fuel filter is a pass-through fuel filter all day long. There's different filtration size ratings of course but I can't imagine you'd be far off.
