Found a great Indie: in Metro Detroit

It pays to network: I just got back from meeting with a local mechanic/shop owner, who was referred by another friend. He is going to do the work on my SD that I do not have the time/skill/tools/confidance to do myself. In return ,I will utiize my Skills as a plumber to work on his house to offset the $$$ factor. The "Wheeling Gods" have smiled favorably upon this poor child!

From one metro Detroiter to another, thanks. While I do not hire out much of my work on the 300D, it's good to know there are good local shops, should need come up.

Right -On. This is a win-win situation for me,to be able to spend a day or day-and-a-half doing what I do in trade for someone doing the work on my car, especially when it comes to the flex discs, lot easier if you have the car on a lift. I usually work on my back in the drive-way, when it comes to tasks that are under the car. It also doesnt hurt that this mechanic is from across the pond, which in a way ,I prefer when it comes to someone working on my SD.
