Question 1984 300CD Missing Carpets - Bamboo(?) Color

I'm about to purchase a 1984 300CD, amazing red exterior with a beautiful white-ish interior (bamboo is what the seller called it, is that an interior color name?) with the big problem of not having any floor carpets. Not the mats, the actual carpet with the sound deadening stuff on the back. Anyone know where I could find carpets for this car? I really hope it's not a sit and watch e-bay / junkyards situation! Thanks!

Example

here's a link to the car I am buying with pics of the interior:

http://www.thebenztrader.com/details.php?id=16166

here's a link to what i think is a match that i want to bid on:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/_Car-Truck-Parts-Accessories__w123-300D-300CD-300TD-240D-Complete-Beige-Carpet-Set-NR_W0QQitemZ130256405131QQadnZCarQ20Q26Q20TruckQ20PartsQ20Q26Q20AccessoriesQQadiZ2865QQcmdZViewItem? hash=item130256405131&_trkparms=72%3A543|39%3A1|65%3A12|240%3A1318&_trksid=p4506.c0.m245

does this look like a match? carpets are quartz, car is too? i don't think they're palomino as my 300D is and this CD interior looks lighter.

The carpet pieces with the molded rubber glued to them are no longer available fromthe dealer. I checked on them about 10 yrs ago and at that time I think I was quoted $400.00. don`t remember now, but probably per side for the front.

I have found a few at PNP with good rubber backs for around $3.00 a piece. some are blue, some brown etc... just have to pull the carpet off w/o tearing up the foam molded back. that is the tricky part.

maybe on a 100 deg day lay them in the sun to get the glue hot, or a heat gun and gently pull the two apart.

Just order the new carpet pieces from world upholstery or one of the other suppliers.

That is a nice looking 300CD, hope it is as nice as it looks.
run your VIN# and get the list of every thing it came with from the factory.

Put the VIN into the Russian site and it will tell you the exact color code and name.
