windshield gasket corner leak ??

I had a friend help me to replace my windshield gasket last year because it was leaky. Now the chrome flashing in the passenger side bottom corner is lifting up and creating a major leak.
What can I do to stop this leak before the winter? Simply pushing on it is useless.
