combination relay gremlins

My `85 190D is plaqued with intermittant directionals and hazard lights. It used to help to brace a piece of tubing behind the comb. relay. Now they respond by twisting the relay in the fuse/relay panel. I tried smearing the pins with aluminum anti seize to no avail. How can thes round pins be restore to making a better connection? This is a great car but I wish they`d done a better job with the electrics.
