I wonder if that fits the 87 year model --- The 2 that I have seen have "cutouts" where the seatbelts can fit into the back of the seat, so when you fold the seat down, the seatbelts are not in the way.

Anyone know?

It looks like an after market seat. The seat belt buckles are different, they don't attach to the spot in the pillar/hatch panels, and the cutout daw mentioned is missing too. I wonder if they will be including headrests for the 60/40 seat backs.

So that is why my 3rd seat in the white wagon looks so much different from the one in Smash. I guess, based on that link, that the white wagon has an aftermarket 3rd seat.
Did all MB factory 3rd row seats have cutouts for the seat belt housings?
