transmission issue

i have been tracing down vaccum leaks to fix my hard shifting tranny. i replaced all the 3 ways, 4 ways and everything that was leaking. now the tranny shifts smooth.

however there is a bad flare between 1 and 2. is this a modulator adjustment? i have also noticed that one of the vaccum levers inside the black box are broken(the one on the right that is all by itsself).

before i go an try to adjust the modulator should i wait for the valve lever to come in? i dont think it is an inner tranny problem because it shifted hard but well before (so hard that between 1 and 2 id spin wheels).

It would be helpful to put a vacuum gauge on the line to the modulator and see what you have at various driving modes.

Attempting to diagnose a transmission vacuum problem without data is impossible.
