Which Battery?

I think my battery is toast...I did some work on the car and it sat for a good couple of months in the garage. It seems that the battery wont hold a charge anymore and is time for a new one.
Is there a general concensus as to which brand of battery is best? Exide, Interstate etc, etc,
Any suggestions, opinions will be greatly appreciated...thanks!

The real question is which battery looks the best.

Second to the white MB batteries, I like the look of my black Bosch battery. It works great, has plenty of CCA's and looks at home in the MB.

It cost $80 at Pep Boys.

NAPA golds seem to work fine for me. I don't know who makes them for them.

The DuraLast and Interstate look to be the exact same, except for color. I bought the Duralast because it was more affordable.

Duralast was exactly the same appearance as the interstate, except as RRGrassi says a different color and it is available at your friendly Auto Zoo.Mine has only been in the car a couple of months so it will be a few years before i can tell if it is good quality. Don

You probably also want to know if they make them to the same specifications. That matters too.

Johnson Controls makes Energizer and Motorcraft.

I replaced my interstate with a MB Battery, which was within 5 dollars of the Duralast.
