I used to keep my TD garaged before I fixed all the water leaks. Now that everything is sealed properly, I keep it in the driveway with a windshield sunshade in place ... plus all my windows are tinted.

The CD has clear UV blocker film in the windows and also uses a windshield sunshade while sleeping in the driveway next to the TD.

Both of them - the AMG has a permanent home in the garage as it should, the 300D is there because I'm not using the other space anyways.

What do you use as a daily driver?

If I didn't use my garage as a wood shop I'd keep the cars in there, at least in the winter so I wouldn't have to scrape the windshield. But they sit out in the elements all day when driven to work anyway.

If I had a collector/investment vehicle it would be kept indoors all the time.

I would if I had a garage! Luckily, though, I think it was garaged for most of its life with the previous owners..at least once it came to Illinois, it was garaged in the winter. It's killing me though, because my last car started getting some really bad rust, and this one doesn't have any..hopefully I will only need to leave it out for one winter.

It's under a car port though. Either way, the danged clearcoat is peeling off. It was a respray, and not the original Lapis Blue, but in Cabernet.

It won't fit

My jeep and 5 motorcycles live in the garage (along with everything to fix them) so Stella lives outside.

Currently, yes. Bodhi is in the garage. The Jeep is outside on the curb, guarding my front yard. I love having the garage, but there isn't any room to work in it (can't even open the hood all the way) and it's terrible lighting. Hoping to someday have something bigger that I can rig up nice lighting in. But glad to have something just to protect the car from the elements ... my MB was never garaged in its 21 years until I started renting the place I'm in now, in February.

Other garaged car is not really "mine," but would be if I knew how to restore it. 1936 Chrysler Airflow is in my dad's garage at his shop. Would love to get that puppy running and drivable.
