Seriously...these things are like crack...(another MB)

So, I'm not even finished with my FIRST MB diesel, and I'm off to look at another one later this week. Same specs as my current ride - 84 300D.

It will be interesting to look at one for sale now, versus when I bought mine several months ago - at least this time around, I'll have a hint of what to look for. Dude says it "won't start," but didn't elaborate. But for just a couple hundred bucks (my thought on purchase price), how wrong can I go???

I'm fired up! I'll let you guys know how it goes...

PS - no, my wife doesn't know yet.

It is like crack... While I'm on this forum every night I'm constantly searching for benzes

the big drool of the night:

A 500SEC Euro with a reasonable BIN

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Cars-Trucks___Mercedes-Benz-500-Series_W0QQitemZ140274982260QQddnZCarsQ20Q26Q20TrucksQQddiZ2282QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item140274982260&_trkparms=39%3A1%7C65%3A7%7C240%3A1318&_trksid=p4506.c0.m245

Its probably a good thing that I live far away from cities full of plentiful benz deals. How do you guys in Texas, Florida, AZ, NM, and Cali do it?

Yeah, I know what you mean. My first one got off the truck on March 27, 2007. I bought my 2nd benz, just 4 days later. And look what has happen since.

That's impressive! I think I need to move into a house with a larger garage...maybe some property with a pole barn. Not a whole lot of room with the one car garage and single-wide driveway.

I would suggest you opt for the pole barn. A 3 car garage is NOT big enough.

gawd, ain't that the truth! Something along the lines of "small warehouse" would be more like it, huh?

turbobenz- I bet you could bet that 240 for even less, it's been listed on and off since summer and he's lowered the price each time. Looks like a decent one, very similar to my wifes car.
