1981 300d window switch stuck on
My window switch was left stuck in the up position overnight. That window (right rear) did not work after this. Several days later the left front went dead (I checked and there is power at the switch).
Does anyone know what happens when a switch is left stuck in the on position??? Could these two problems be related? Thanks for any help. -John |

Unless your car was on all night it doesn't matter. There is no power to the windows when the car is off. The motor is probably toasted though, even if it was only stalled for half a minute it probably burned it out.
I'd check all fuses to be sure its not a blown fuse first though....might be lucky.
